The show this week features the solo debut album from Dean Wareham. Released in 2014 and following his lengthy career with Galaxie 500, Luna and Dean & Britta the album remains his only solo longplayer. We play tracks throughout the show.
There’s a session track from Mojave 3 recorded for 6Music in 2003 whilst promoting their Spoon & Rafter album. The Horrors are performing a tune from their Primary Colours album live in Manchester recorded in 2014.
We also look back 30 years and celebrate the release of the Tremolo EP by My Bloody Valentine alongside the fact Spacemen 3 were currently residing at no.88 in the pop charts this week in 1991.
