Today’s lockdown concert comes from The Field recorded in 2014. This was recorded at Sonar in Siena, Italy just as he was touring his fourth album Cupid’s Head. It’s a great set that just keeps building and building… enjoy!
Today’s gig captures Ride at a crossroads in their imperial phase. This gig was recorded a year after their second album Going Blank Again and the band are trying out new tracks, some of which would appear on their third album the following year.
This concert is from The Twilight Sad just before they released It Won’t Be Like This All The Time. Whilst this video is only recorded with one camera it perfectly captures the band at their peak. Since the release of the album the band have been playing significantly larger venues.
Today’s lockdown concert is from 2016 when DIIV were promoting their second album Is The Is Are. This concert sees them play to a large open-air audence at the Best Kept Secret festival. The band had been on the road almost constantly for around 3 years at this point and were close to breaking up. […]
Minor Victories are made-up of vocalist Rachel Goswell (Slowdive), guitarists Stuart Braithwaite (Mogwai) and Justin Lockey (Editors), and film-maker James Lockey of Hand Held Cine Club on bass.
