We go back to 1999 for this week’s featured album of the week. Released in September of that year the second album from death In Vegas was shortlisted for the Mercury Music prize.
The Contino Sessions featured a whole range of guests from Dot Allison, Jim Reid, Matt Flint (Revolver), Iggy Pop and the London Community Gospel Choir the album was a change of direction after their electronic debut.
We play a selection of tracks from the album throughout the show.
