2021 saw the 30th anniversary of shoegaze, first mentioned in a news story about Slowdive in May 1991 and within months all across the music press.
Whilst the roots of shoegaze date back to the 1960s these shows play a track a year since the name/genre was born, from My Bloody Valentine’s groundbreaking Loveless in 1991 until the recent chart-topping album from Mogwai.
