On this week’s show our featured album of the week was from DIIV.
Released in 2016 their second longplayer Is The Is Are was a double album from a band that was struggling at the time dealing with drug issues. It’s an album that even the band never knew if they’d be able to follow-up.
Also on the show there’s a live track from Moose recorded at the Town & Country Club in 1992. Slowdive cover a Syd Barrett track in their Peel Session from April 1991.
There’s classic tracks from Acetone, Future Sound of London (featuring Elizabeth Frazer), Meat Whiplash and Yo La Tengo.
We also have recent releases from No Age, Vinyl Williams, Daniel Avery, Sonic Boom, Sorry and Crushed Beaks.
