Radio show – 24th June 2020

On the show this week our featured album is Spooky by Lush. Released in the spring of 1992 a whole 2.5 years after their debut EP, Spooky is one of the definitive albums of the era. We play a couple of tracks from the album.

There’s a live track from Swervedriver recorded at the Marquee in London as part of a series of gigs broadcast on Radio One in 1990.

There’s also Peel Session track from Moonshake recorded in 1992.

Alongside that you can hear recent releases from Vinyl Williams, Fazerdaze and Pip Blom. There’s also classics from Seefeel, That Uncertain Feeling and My Bloody Valentine.

Finally we pay tribute to Alex Taylor of The Motorcycle Boy and The Shop Assistants by playing a track from her collaboration with Ride from 1989.
