30 years is a bit of a theme this week… firstly it was November 1990 when Galaxie 500 released their final album This Is Our Music and toured the UK. That album is our featured album of the week and we play several tracks during the show.
It’s also 30 years since Heavenly Records launched and to celebrate they have released a marvellous book. Believe In Magic by Robin Turner was released last week and is a great read, we’ll be playing several Heavenly related tunes during the show including Dot Allison, Pip Blom and The Chemical Brothers with Beth Orton.
Revolver are in session for John Peel recorded in November 1991 and there’s new releases from Maps and Teenage Fanclub.
