Last year we did an indie disco classics show, this hour features some of the lost tracks you never hear mentioned from that era.
Following the massive Madchester explosion during 1989 the following couple of years gave us a whole wave of bands that were called baggy and very few of them got to make a second album when their debut albums didn’t have the same success as The Stone Roses and Happy Mondays.
This show is best consumed with a pint of warm flat lager and a packet of Benson & Hedges.
Tracks played in this show:
Rig – Hum
The Lovekittens – What Goes On
World of Twist – The Storm (12″ Version)
Sensitize – Maniac (12″ Version)
Flowered Up – Phobia (Extended Version)
Blur – High Cool (Easy Listening Mix)
The Beloved – Hello (Honky Tonk Mix)
Top – Buzzin’
Five Thirty – 13th Disciple
Cud – Robinson Crusoe (12 Mix)
Paris Angels – Oh Yes (12″ Version)
