We go all the way back to 1984 for this week’s featured album of the week. It’ll End In Tears was a huge independent album upon it’s release. The project of Ivo Watts-Russell and a whole host of guests including the Cocteau Twins.
The album spent 35 weeks in the UK Independent charts and the single Song To The Siren spent nearly 2 years in the singles chart. We play a selection of tracks from the album throughout the show.
There’s also a John Peel Session track from Dinosaur Jr and you can hear an exclusive track from the forthcoming album by Cheval Sombre. We play the epic 9 minute title track from Time Waits for No One.
You can also hear the last track performed at Kilburn National for Loop’s final gig before they split for 23 years in 1990 courtesy of Do the Moozik.
Then tracks from the likes of Piroshka, Gnoomes Talk Talk and I Like Trains.
