On this show we previewed Dean Wareham’s first new album in seven years called ‘I Have Nothing To Say To The Mayor of LA’ which is released on Friday. You can hear tracks throughout the show.
We also travel back 30 years ago this week to a small festival that happened in Paris and went on to shape much of the music of the 90s in the UK. Lush, Blur, Pulp, Ride, World of Twist and Ocean Colour Scene played at La Cigale over two nights. Many of the sets were broadcast on French radio and we shall be playing some live tracks during the show.
There’s also the usual mix of new releases and oldies.
